ORYK
Before kingdoms had armies, the wild had him. One bow. One target. One chance.
Born
of ash.
In the earliest age, survival belonged to those who mastered a craft. For ORYK, that craft was the bow.
Raised among the unforgiving wilds, he learned to hunt before he learned to fear. Distance became his advantage. Patience became his weapon. Others carried bows. He mastered one.
Stories traveled between tribes of a Hornhead who could strike beyond the distance of sight and vanish before anyone found where the arrow began. Soon, there was no debate: ORYK was the greatest archer in all the land.
“If you see the horns,Old warning of the Ashlands
you’re already in range.”
The
Elite’s Bow
An archer is only as dangerous as the hands holding the bow—and no hands were more dangerous than his.
The Elite’s Bow became inseparable from ORYK, not because the weapon made him exceptional, but because few possessed the skill to wield it as he did.
One arrow was usually enough.
